This is Rhino.
Juliana got him as a gift when she had surgery.
She takes him everywhere.
On a Tuesday she announced his birthday was in 2 days.
Wednesday night we were told again: Rhino's birthday is tomorrow!
Thursday morning she bounced on our bed: "Mom, Dad, come say Happy Birthday to Rhino!"
All day throughout school and chores she asked what we could do.
Finally, I offered to let her make cupcakes.
Rhino ate dinner with us.
We sang to him.
We ate birthday cupcakes.
It was ridiculous.
Jules was ecstatic.
We have warned her this was a one time deal.
We shall see about that.

super cute! Thanks for sharing. Sorry to hear about Rocky. Wow. Thanks for sharing that as well. We'll be praying for God to continue to use this situation to teach the lessons we only learn in grief.
