Cute Little Kitty Cat

I am not what you would call a "cat-lover." My aunt and uncle, my grandma--they love cats. I prefer the loyalty and protection dogs offer over the fickle love of cats.

But when the late afternoon sun shines perfectly on Dan's empty backpack under his desk, the cutest little ball of fur cannot resist soaking in the last minutes of warmth. And I cannot help but stop a minute, smile and marvel at the simple life led by this feline who has purred her way into my heart.
