And After

(The picture is not quite accurate as far as the color green. It's a deep sage. )

I love my green wall. We debated for a long time--many months in fact--on just how much to paint. The beauty of unique architecture is it's visually appealing. The down side to unique architecture is there are no clear cut lines--so where do you stop painting? We had already painted the nook on the left and hung our Kincade there (it was all glass shelving, and I did not like it at all). In fact, I painted that within the first months of moving in. I lived with the color for months to be sure I like it. I am very happy with what we decided, and where we painted--it's unexpected! Cassie, Tina and I went to Home Depot and picked out paint for above the fireplace in the next room--a smoky blue. We also checked out fabric to make valences for the living room--something with green, but secretly I want some red in them too.
