Faster than Fast

Okay, here goes

Got the keys to the house on Wednesday...just in time to go to youth group.

Painted Gabe's room on Thursday. Bought a washer and dryer and Dishwasher on Thursday night--until 9:30. Kids were SOOO done.

Painted Mckenna's room on Friday. took kids to Grandma. Cried (you can guess who cried, but you will be wrong. This time it was Mckenna, Me, Juliana, Dan...in that order too).  Bought a Refrigerator and a better/cheaper washer at a different Best Buy than the night before. Went back to first Best Buy, returned first washer (all on paper, we didn't have it yet).

Met Mark, Audrey and Hayden at our new house, gave them the tour. Got to the apartment at 10:00. Packed for Oregon. Went to bed around midnight. Got up at 2:00 am.

Drove to LAX. Got on an airplane. 

INSERT CRAZY, WHIRLWIND STYLE WEEKEND OF WEDDING AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVITES. GOT LOST IN PORTLAND AT LEAST 15 TIMES--BUT THAT'S ANOTHER POST.

Got into LA around noon Monday (ha, that's another post too...sigh). Went straight to kids' swim lessons. Came to apartment, went to house. Painted trim. 

Mckenna went to basketball with daddy and ran into a tree. No joke.

All 5 of us cuddled on the couch and floor until 4 of us were asleep. Thankfully, the one not asleep was the one who could carry us all to bed.

This morning--was at Lowes by 8:30. Bought baseboards for kids' rooms. Dan kept kids here, until Deb called to take Mckenna and Gabe for a few hours. I painted doors and baseboards while I got the carpets cleaned.

Now, Dan is back in Rancho Cucamonga at day 2 of swim lessons. Then, he runs back here to get them to Karate. Then, we have college group tonight.
