Thankful Challenge, Day 10

10. Employment. I was grateful for Daniel's history of work before he was unemployed for 8 months. But that two-thirds of a year he was out of work gives a whole new level of gratitude to his current job. The fact that it is so much more than a job, and is at a fantastic church, is truly icing on the proverbial cake. And though I do not say it often enough, I am so grateful for my job of grading essays. I get to stay home to do it, keep my finger on the pulse of what students are thinking, and learn more each year about quality writing. Plus, these papers supply me with a nearly endless source of amusement :o)
