We have some sweet friends here in the desert. Even though we have only known them for a month or so, and even though they have grandkids of their own, each time we see them they have bought something for the kids and have something to give us. Today it was a watering guide for keeping grass green in the desert. Daniel came home and did a little sprinkler adjustment.
We invited them to go to dinner with us for Gabriel's birthday. They came, brought a friend, and paid. Not sure how that works, but we are thankful. They also came loaded down with water guns, and they made it clear the biggest one is for me. Hee, hee, hee. I really like them.
The kiddos took their new toys out back the next day to play. Their faces say it all.
