Books I want to Read in 2009

--Family Driven Faith: Doing What It Takes to Raise Sons and Daughters Who Walk with
God  Pastor Voddie Bauchman
--Mad Church Disease Anne Jackson
--Dark Night of the Soul John of the Cross
--Don't Waste Your Life John Piper
--A Woman After God's Own Heart Elizabeth George (again--I read it every couple years. I am currently half way through).
--The Shack  William Young

I will more than likely update this list, but it's all I had time to do. There is only one fiction novel on this list...because any time I do have to read, I quickly pick up a good fiction book. These are books I am challenging myself to read, that if I don't put them out here I may never get to.

If you own any of these and you are willing to let me borrow them, I would appreciate it greatly. Fortunately we have a wonderful library nearby, so I hope to find many of them there.

Get your hands on some Karen Kingsbury books. You won't be able to put them down! :)

Carlee,

I own two of the books, the Shack and Dark Night of the Soul. I really liked Dark Night of the Soul it gives good reasons why we don't 'feel' God and it sometimes it has nothing to do with the fact that we have un-confessed sin or that we are not 'on fire' for God. That is all I have to say.
